Not On Mars Taping/Trading Policy
The taping policy for Not On Mars shows is pretty simple... TAPING AND THE TRADING OF TAPES, CDRs AND FLAC OR SHN FILES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED!
We feel that taping and tape trading is just as important to us as it is to you. We benefit by having our music spread around and having new people exposed to it. You benefit from having something to remind you of the fun you had at a given show. When taping, there are a few basic guidelines we ask you to follow:
1. Bring your own mics. 2. Supply your own power. 3. Be nice. Don't get in the way of the band or the venue employees. Don't hassle people to be quiet around your mics. The live experience comes first, taping is always secondary. 4. Taping and trading should always be non-profit. We won't charge you to make the tapes, so don't sell them. If you try to sell recordings of our shows, we'll find you and kick your ass. 5. Be prepared to send a copy of any show you tape to the band if it's requested. 6. Video taping is subject to the same rules. 7. Have fun, be kind, and spread the music.
